I have been reading over the bios board a lot lately, and here are some important details I've found:
Some people seem to have been ignoring the rule that says your bio should be accepted to start roleplay and related roleplay functions. It does exist; please honor it!
It was rather startling that I now read the bios posted by members such as Crystalspring, Summerleaf, and Ashley and think, Ahhh... refreshing. Such wonderfully literate posts! This is an issue because that SHOULD be the standard! New members, read any of the bios posted by myself, Silverstar, Hollyleaf, Opalstar, Ivyflower, Crystalspring, Summerleaf, and Ashley if you want to see what a bio is supposed to look like. We are supposed to be a fairly literate roleplay site, and while it's always nice to have new members, our literacy level is more important than our member count. If you don't think you can maintain it, you don't really have to be here.
While it's nice to have a picture in your bio to explain what your cat looks like more thoroughly, it should be there to supplement the worded description, NOT replace it. A picture may be worth a thousand words, but here it is not acceptable as a substitute for the same. Once again, if you don't feel that you can type a description two medium-length sentences long (the absolute minimum, four short sentences will also work), this is not the site for you.
