Age: 87 moons
Gender: She-cat
Clan: WindClan
Personality:
Rank: Warrior
Age: 87 moons
Gender: She-cat
Clan: WindClan
Personality:
Her glowing personality matches her name quite well. Most of the time, she is very happy and enjoys living life. She has certainly had a lot of time in which to live it- she is one of WindClan's oldest warriors! She counts herself very lucky to be as old as she is, and likes to imagine what being in StarClan will be like. She isn't morbid, far from it- she wants to be alive for as long as she can, but wouldn't mind dying. Death is very much present for her, since most of her friends from her kithood and apprenticeship have already died.Appearance:
Amberheart's name fits her both because of her personality and because of her appearance. She has thick, short golden fur that almost seems to glow. The reason for that is that each individual hair is three shades of gold. Her deep golden eyes often have a knowing expression.History:
While she has never been well known to others, within WindClan Amberheart is considered great to the point of legendary. Her story began when she was Amberpaw, the newest apprentice in the Clan. Her friend Proudpaw was a senior apprentice, a troublemaker and, as his name suggests, too proud to listen to warnings when he went too far. Amberpaw looked up to him and tried to copy him. When Proudpaw went on a dangerous trip to confront a badger, Amberpaw went with him. The badger knocked Proudpaw out right away, but Amberpaw not only stood her ground, she fought it and won. When Amberpaw dragged her unconscious friend into the camp, every cat was wondering whether she had saved him or fought him. After he regained consciousness, the two of them explained what happened, and were given both praise and punishment. They had broken the warrior code by going off alone... but it was really, really impressive that the youngest apprentice had beaten a badger.Example of Roleplay:
Several moons later, Amberpaw was Amberheart and Proudpaw was Proudtail. They were again thrown into a dangerous situation, but this time it was an enemy raid. Most of the Clan had been drawn away by their cunning enemies, leaving only Proudtail, Amberheart, the elders, three apprentices, the queens and their kits in the camp. That small and badly prepared force nevertheless managed to drive out their attackers, thus pulling them even closer to legend status.
Only a few moons afterwards, Proudtail and Amberheart became mates and had the unheard-of number of five kits. (Four is the most any other Clan cat has ever had.) That was a time of celebration for WindClan, because their numbers were growing.
About ten moons and eight kits later, when they were on a patrol together, Amberheart and her mate were challenged by RiverClan cats, including the fearsome tom then known as Redstorm. While much that happened in that frenetic battle is disputable, what no cat can deny is that by the end of it, Proudtail was dead. Only the thought of her twelve offspring kept Amberheart from joining him in StarClan during the bleak time that followed, but she slowly returned to her usual enjoyment of life.
She is now one of WindClan's oldest and wisest warriors, with young kits going wide-eyed over the idea of meeting a living legend. Her kits are all warriors now, and several have kits of their own. A great portion of her many descendants have inherited her glowing pelt, her glowing optimism, or both.
